Meet Christian Soares

Christian Soares is a highly skilled head football coach and expert player's engagement specialist with a rich professional history in the sport sector. Beginning his career in Brazil, Christian has worked with several reputable teams in Australia and Brazil, lending his expertise in strength and conditioning as well as coaching.

Christian currently serves as the TD and head coach of the Dunbar Rovers FC, where he has been since February 2017 as well as a Clinics Coach at Sydney FC and a Strength Conditioning Coach at Fraser Park FC. In 2011, he founded Functional Football Training, where he has been the head coach, enabling him to demonstrate his exceptional leadership skills and penchant for player motivation.

Throughout his career, Christian has developed an impressive skill set, including the ability to work both independently and with a team under pressure, multi-tasking, effective leadership abilities, and motivational coaching. He has a natural ability to identify and hone player's talents.Before his work in Australia, he also served as a football coach at Grêmio Futebol Porto Alegrense in Brazil from January 2001 to November 2003, as well as one year as a Strength Conditioning Coach & Football Coach at Sport Club International Porto Alegre - Brazil from August 2003 - June 2004.

Additionally, he worked as a Football Coach at Kincoppal Rose Bay School of Sacred Heart, Sydney from February 2009 to August 2010, and as a U13 NPL Youth Football Coach at Apia Leichhardt Tigers Australia in August 2009 – August 2010.

With his extensive knowledge and deep commitment to the sport, Christian Soares continues to make significant contributions to the football community.

Meet Renato Jelen

Renato Jelen is a highly experienced Football Head Coach with a diverse and impressive coaching background. He has held head coaching roles at Cranbrook and Ascham Junior and Senior School, where he focused on player development and team preparation for competition. Renato has also served as the Technical Director and First Grade Coach for UNSW Women's State League and the Eastern Suburbs Football Association Regional Youth League. In addition, he has coaching experience at The Scots College and as the Head Coach of the Football-Tech Academy in Perth.

Renato's expertise extends beyond coaching, as he has successfully coordinated tours and tournaments, showcasing his comprehensive knowledge of the game. The depth of his experience is further enhanced by his playing career, where he featured in 1st Grade Football for clubs such as Flamengo De Guarulhos F.C and Uniao De Mogi F.C in Brazil, as well as Dulwich Hill, Macarthur Rams, Cockburn City S.C, and Dainella White Eagles in Australia. Renato has excelled in Futsal as well, representing Sao Paulo FC, Sydney University FC, Sydney Magic, and Vipers.

With a B License qualification in coaching and a Diploma in Business, Renato possesses the skills and expertise to excel both on and off the field. His extensive playing experience, combined with his coaching accomplishments, make him a valuable asset and a well-rounded Football Head Coach.
